Rules of the game

Each player receives four random cards in addition to a Defuse card.

Players take turns drawing 1 card from the common deck, playing 1 card of their choice, and following the instructions written on the card.
If you draw an exploding cat card with no Defuse, that player dies immediately.

The person who survives until the end of the game will be the overall winner.

Basic Exploding Cats at board game requires a minimum of two players. However, you can play Exploding Cat with a maximum of 5 participants to make the game more dramatic.

Cards

Exploding Kittens: 4 cards
Unless you have a Defuse card, you must flip it over to notify other players as soon as you draw it. You must stop playing and put down all the cards you have, including the Exploding Cat card.
Defuse: 6 cards
If you draw an Exploding Cat card after placing the Defuse card down, you will remain in the game. You can then leave the Exploding Cat card in any position in the common deck, but you cannot take or look at other cards.

Skip: 4 cards
The Skip card will help you end your turn immediately, without having to draw a card. If you counter an Attack card with this card, it can only terminate one turn, requiring you to play the remaining turn. However, if you utilize two Skip cards, it will terminate two turns.

Attack: 4 cards
The Attack card will help you end your turn without having to draw a card, as well as force the next player to draw two consecutive turns. However, if the victim plays an Attack card, it ends their turn and passes those two draws to the next player.
Shuffle: 4 cards
After placing the Shuffle card, you can shuffle the deck as many times as you want without seeing the cards.

Favor: 4 cards
The Favor card requires another player, whom you designate, to give you one of their cards. However, that player can decide what card they give you.

Nope, 5 cards
The Nope card will nullify all actions of any card except the Exploding Kitten and Bomb Disarming Cards. You can also use your Nope to nullify another Nope card, even if it is not your turn.

See the Future: 5 cards
See The Future lets you peek at the first three cards in the deck, then you must return them to their original order without telling other players.

Winning conditions

The winning conditions of this board game are very simple: if you explode, you lose; if you don’t explode, you win. In short, to be the overall winner, you need to be the last survivor.

Notes

When using Defuse, you can prank other players by placing the Exploding Cat card on top of the draw pile, but you should do it secretly by acting under the table or behind their backs to increase the excitement.

If you know you are about to draw an exploding cat, you should use the Shuffle card to avoid the bomb exploding.

Once you have gathered a sufficient combination of 5 normal cat cards, you should use them immediately before another player blocks your action with the Nope card.

If you know the draw pile contains the desired function cards, you should use the Self Slap card to accumulate and collect them yourself.

You have the right to count the remaining cards in the draw pile to determine the likelihood of drawing cards, as the draw pile will never run out.

There is no rule about the minimum or maximum number of cards allowed in hand, so even if you run out of cards, you can still draw as many times as you want depending on your calculations.
